OK, so it's called "BBQ", but it is not BBQ like we know it. We would usually think of something like a Memphis style sauce that goes over the meat. Not here. "BBQ" here refers to you cooking your own food over a fryer or hot coal pit on or in your table. They serve all these side dishes (as they do with everything here) like kimchi (fermented cabbage in a lot of hot spices), different types of lettuce leaves to wrap your meat in after it's cooked, cabbage, poached eggs with green onions in a boiling pot, tofu soup, sliced radish in wasabi sauce, pickled garlic, boiled rice blocks, and all kinds of sauces to dip your meat in. You can pick between several different cuts of pork and beef. You just throw it on the grill and let it cook. It is very good! Here is a video of our outing last night.
